OLD PUEBLO LAPIDARY CLUB
Whether you’re cutting your first stone or you’ve been creating for decades, Old Pueblo Lapidary Club is a place to learn, create and connect with people who share your fascination with rocks, gems and the lapidary arts.
Organized in Tucson in 1970, OPLC was founded to increase and share knowledge of the lapidary arts and related fields including mineralogy, earth sciences, metalworking, creative design, enameling and engraving.
Today, the club welcomes beginners, hobbyists and experienced artisans alike with extensive club-owned facilities, shops and equipment, along with hands-on classes, open shop time, educational programs, meetings, field trips, a library and the club newsletter, Cutting Remarks.
OPLC is also a member of the Rocky Mountain Federation of Mineralogical Societies and the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies.
